Robert B. Houska, MD
Dr Houska grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia. He graduated magna cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College with a BS in Chemistry. He completed medical school at VCU/Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in Richmond, Virginia. He finished his residency in Family Medicine at Riverside Regional Medical Center/MCV in Newport News, Virginia and became Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1991. He practiced for three years in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, and then returned to Virginia to practice at Countryside Family Practice in 1994. He enjoys all facets of Family Medicine.
When away from the office, Dr. Houska enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown children, mountain biking, traveling, gardening, visiting state and national parks, volunteering at the Fauquier Free Clinic, and maintaining the trails at Whitney State Forest. He Lives in Warrenton with his wife.
