Confidentiality:
Your medical record is strictly private. We will not give out information regarding your condition to your employer, friends, or relatives without your written consent. The only exception to this is when required by law, as in industrial injuries, assaults, etc. There will be a minimal charge to cover the administrative costs of copying your records.

Fees and Payment:
We participate with Medicare and many other insurance plans. (Click here for the list of companies that we currently participate with.) Any hospital admissions or surgery charges will be filed with the appropriate insurance company. It is our policy to NOT become involved with third party liability insurances, for example: auto accidents and legal cases. We do not hold accounts until settlement. We are concerned with the cost of medical care and make every effort to keep costs down. With that in mind, we ask that you pay in full when services are rendered. If you have difficulty making payment, please discuss your situation with the billing office. We will work with you in setting up a payment schedule.

Telephone Calls:
All patients are encouraged to call with any questions they have regarding medical problems. However, it would be most unfair to our patients were we to leave to answer every phone call. The office staff has been trained to answer many of your questions. They will also relay your information to us and your call will be returned or otherwise answered at the earliest opportunity.

PRESCRIPTION REFILL OR REFERRAL LINE: If you are calling for a prescription refill or insurance referral, please call on our line dedicated to this service. Please allow at least 48 hours for us to provide these services. 540-364-7611

Appointments:
We try to see all patients on an appointment basis, and we can reserve time for you. When scheduling appointments, please inform the receptionist of the nature of your visit, (i.e. illness, chronic problems, physical examinations, or consultation) so that we may allow you the appropriate time for your exam. If you need to cancel an appointment, please give the office at least 24 hours notice so we may allow another patient to be seen sooner. On occasion, emergencies can cause delays. Whenever possible, you will be informed in advance.
